The Tour features sustainable lifestyles that are responsive to and celebrate the unique characteristics of our Sonoran Desert. Visit homes and buildings throughout the central Tucson area that make efficient use of natural resources, including sites with:
  • photovoltaic electricity (on- and off-grid),
  • solar water heating,
  • solar cooking,
  • passive solar design,
  • energy conservation,
  • water harvesting,

  • straw bale, rammed earth, masonry and more.

Learn from the homeowners, and meet professionals who can help you achieve a more sustainable home.
